Smaller than the other horse hair pots in the collection, the roundness of this vase will draw you in! It is as tall as it is fat, measuring 6.5” x 6.5”. The technique is one of my favorites, where I apply single strands of horse tail hair to 1200 degree F. hot pots. {Yes, I wear electricians gloves…which adds to the challenge!} The pieces that survive this process are truly one-of-a-kind, forged in fire! Based on an ancient Native American tradition, this piece will definitely be a conversation starter. Beautiful on a bookshelf or as a table certer piece, this piece is not water-tight, and should be used for decorative purposes only.
