This unusually-shaped ceramic art is created according to a Native American technique where the pottery is pulled from a red-hot kiln and the horse tail-hair is immediately applied to the surface of the pot, one strand at a time, carbonizing the squiggly black lines permanently into the clay. Measuring 7” tall and 6.5” wide, this vase will not hold water and is for decorative purposes only—definitely a show-stopper on any bookcase or entry table!
